Being aware of the needs and feelings of one's team is an important skill of a manager. In order to provide a comfortable and safe work environment a manager must be responsible. When employees feel safe and secure they are more likely to be happy and more productive.

Not reaching a deadline can cause stress for the employees. When a manager fails to manage time well they may need to push their employees as the deadline approaches making them work harder and longer hours.
